We showed our heart on Go Red day!

February 14th, 2012

We donned our scarlet finery to show our support for American Heart Month and national Go Red for Women Day. Our rooftop photo fun was part of an effort by Fairview Red Wing Medical Center, the Red Wing Family YMCA and a plethora of other local businesses to remind the community about the dangers of cardiovascular disease by wearing red on Feb. 3.

You can see Go Red photos from around the Red Wing community here!

A site that makes a splash

January 23rd, 2012

When Red Wing High School Boys Swim Team officials needed an easy and efficient way to share important information with a large number of swimmers, parents, coaches and fans without sending massive group emails, we were glad to jump in and help out by designing and programming the team’s very own spot on the web.

The new team website makes a splash as a one-stop center for information about the team. Visitors can easily check out schedules, team records and history, download important forms and immerse themselves in team news with a regularly updated blog.

Boosting the Boosters

December 16th, 2011

We were pleased to help give our local athletes a boost. The Red Wing Booster Club, a nonprofit organization that promotes and supports all Red Wing High School sports activities, recently asked Confluence to help the organization achieve more recognition at local events.  We worked closely with the Boosters to create a banner that educates the community about the club and gets people involved at the same time. And it looks really cool, too.

The new Stories of Hope is out!

December 2nd, 2011

The fall issue of Stories of Hope, Second Harvest Heartland’s quarterly newsletter, just hit mailboxes. Few projects bring us as much satisfaction as this one, because by helping Second Harvest Heartland design, write and coordinate delivery of this valuable fundraising tool, we’re really helping to create positive change in our communities.

Exposing our services at the Business Expo

November 4th, 2011

It was great to see everyone at the St. James Hotel for the Red Wing Chamber of Commerce 2011 Business Expo! Confluence is committed to helping local businesses do big things, and this event was a great opportunity to talk to Red Wing business owners about their marketing, print and web needs. Shake the blues with a little jazz

October 28th, 2011

What better way to shake, rattle and roll those post-holiday blues than with a full day of jazz? Presented by the Roseville Visitors Association, the Roseville Winter Jazz Blast is an all-day celebration of jazz, capped off by an evening performance by Jazz MN Orchestra with special guest guitarist Mike Stern. There won’t be a groovier place to be on January 14, 2012 than Maranatha Hall on the Northwestern College campus.

Positive change, half a world away

August 29th, 2011

As part of our effort to help create positive change in the world, we are honored and humbled to assist in the creation of a website for the Simbolei Girls’ Preparatory Academy. The goal of the Simbolei Community Assistance Association is to build and develop a high-quality, affordable high school for girls in Kamariny, the heart of rural Rift Valley Province in Kenya. We are proud to be a part of this noble undertaking.
